About Our Products
Vulcanized Fibre has been used as electrical insulation since before electricity was a common service. It has
been molded for athletic protection, helmets, skis, surfboards and skate boards. It has been punched into
washers for everything from garage door openers to reclining chairs and unimaginable applications. Vulcanized
Fibre is used wound into tubing, sleeving and packaging in many shapes and sizes. It is used as gasketing
materials for electric and automotive applications. In Asian countries where recycleability is key, vulcanized
fibre is used for paper clips, bread ties, and serrated cutting edges.
Now, with growing concern of the carcinogenic effects of many household plastics and synthetic papers,
Vulcanized Fibre is finding new interest due to it’s 100% natural cellulose composition.
Vulcanized Fibre is fully compliant to the following new international restrictions:
- RoHS (Restrictions of Hazardous Substances)
- PAH (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons)
